Description:
This image shows the Jellyfish Nebula (IC443) in the constellation Gemini, imaged in narrowband using the popular Hubble Palette. This nebula is thought to be a supernova remnant and contains a Neutron star. It lies some 5,000 Light Years from Earth and is about 70 light years across. The bright star Propus lies just at the edge of the nebula at the bottom of the image.
