Description:
This is single shot photography with smartphone and a 10" Newtonian telescope of Galileo Astronomical Observatory ( 21.83 N, 87.76E). Photography by Gopal Mandal from West Bengal, India. This photograph has been processed with basic smartphone app Snapseed. A small black dot is visible on Jupiter, this is a transit of it's satalite Io not the giant red spot. This is a coincidence with my photography but checked after this photo captured that this is a transit.
