On March 3, 2026, a clear and distinct transit of Jupiter's moon Io and its shadow was visible, with the dark shadow spot visible onto the South Equatorial Belt. This image was captured using an optimized 16" carbon truss Newtonian telescope with a 400 mm aperture.
