Description:
This is a picture of Jupiter I captured through my telescope on October 29, 2024. I got a few minutes of good seeing conditions where I was able to reveal some nice details of Jupiter! This final image results from stacking and de-rotating 9 separate frames, each from a 1-minute video (gain = 170, exposure = 20.00 ms). I used Autostakkert!3 to stack 800 frames per video, followed by wavelet sharpening in Registax6 and de-rotation in WinJupos. Final tweaks and color adjustments were made in Adobe Photoshop.
