Description:

I really enjoyed Tom Dobbins article and wanted to report just how exciting it was to be imaging Jupiter last apparition. I hope this year will also prove to be an interesting one! Here is an image I made of Jupiter on February the 2nd of this year with the SEB and NTBs outbreaks evident. Another plume of the NTBs outbreak rotated onto the disk a little while later but the seeing was going downhill and so I chose this image instead of the one showing two plumes because of the better image quality. This image has been submitted to PVOL and other locations where it can be used by those studying these phenomena.
