Description:
This image shows the Lagoon Nebula (M8) captured from Kuwait using narrowband SHO imaging. The image combines hydrogen-alpha, oxygen-III and sulfur-II data to reveal the rich emission structures, dark dust lanes and star-forming regions within this famous nebula in Sagittarius. Total integration time was 6 hours and 10 minutes.
