Celestron Nightscape 8300 in 1x1 Binning, Celestron CGEM Mount, Orion 50mm guidescope, QHY5L-IIM Guide camera. Image consists of 18x300s shots or 1hr30m. Cooled to -12c.

Description:

I see so many images in magazines shot with multiple thousand dollar setups and I don't see many shot using modest equipment. I was on a mission to show that it can be done with more affordable equipment. I had redid my polar alignment on this night and this was mean't only as a test. Considering the seeing was terrible I was surprised to get anything at all. This was 18x300s subs.
