Description:
M106, a nearby galaxy, has two unusual arms that emanate from the super-massive black hole in the core. These arms extend up and down significantly outside the rotational plane and are seen best in X-ray wavelengths - though I've captured them here in Ha and OIII. That data was blended with LRGB to try and get the fullest picture of the galaxy.
