Orion 10-inch f/4.7 reflector, SBIG ST2000XM, on a Losmandy G11 mount. Guide scope a Orion ST80 with a DSI Pro 2 imager.

Description:

LRGB image of M109 using 24 600s 1x1 binned L, 14 360s 2x2 binned R, 14 360s 2x2 binned G, and 12 600s 2x2 binned B exposures. The streak through the image on the left is a diffraction spike caused by the bright star Gamma Ursa Major. Exposures captured using Nebulosity 2 and guiding using PHD. Images processed using AIP4WIN, DDS, Nebulosity 2, PixInsight LE, and PhotoShop.
