M13 in the constellation Hercules at a distance of 220,000 LY and age of over 11.6BY, is an easy Northern Hemisphere target, comprised of approximately 300,000 stars within a diameter of 145 LY, in an area of sufficient density (with an average distance between stars of about 2 LY), to cause stellar collisions and the resulting formation of new stars,
