Description:

This image of the Andromeda's core has been processed using GALFIT, a specialized tool for two-dimensional fitting of galaxy structures. The primary goal of this processing was to subtract the luminosity contribution from the central bulge, revealing finer details of the surrounding structures. GALFIT was employed to fit a Sérsic profile to model the bulge's brightness distribution.
