Description:

Being the most distance object in the sky visible to naked eyes, M31 is one of my favorite objects in the sky. This is what the galaxy looked like 2.5 million years ago. This time I am using a mono camera with Ha, L, R,G,B filters. Interesting Ha regions are highlighted through processing. Scope: Sky-Watcher Evostar 80 Camera: ASI294MM-P Filters: 2" Optolong Ha, L, R, G, B Exposures: 39x300s Ha, 68x180s L, 8x180s RGB each (About 8 hours in total integration); Calibrations: 30 Darks, 20 Flats for each channel.
