Description:
Under dark sky conditions, M33 is just barely visible with the naked eye in the constellation Triangulum, just west of Andromeda and Pisces. Among the galaxy’s most distinctive features are ionized hydrogen clouds, also called H-II regions, which are massive regions of starbirth. Among Triangulum's most distinctive features is NGC 604, a region of starbirth. In this image I composed 4 different sessions: RGB with Antlia Triband and Antlia ALP-T filter. Images taken with my 107APO from outside of Jacksonville, Fl light pollution. Sessions: 10/10/23: 33 x 300 Antlia Triband RGB 10/14/23: 47 x 300 Antlia Triband RGB 10/16/23: 89 x 300 Antlia ALP-T 10/17/23: 71 x 300 Antlia Triband RGB Total Integration Time: 208 x 300
