This is a closeup detail view of the Triangulum Galaxy, M33. From Bortle 7 backyard, Southern Ontario, Canada At a distance of 2.7Million light years away, M33 is the third largest galaxy in our local galaxy group, after Andromeda and the Milky Way. There are so many Hii regions inside this galaxy. Format: LHaRGB Scope: Explore Science 8" Newtonian ES208CF, f/4 Exposure: (~ total of 6.75 hours) 67x180s L; 38x180s Ha; 10x180s RGB each @200gain, -5C Camera: ASI294MM-Pro Filters: 2" Optolong RGB, L, Ha filter Calibrations: 30 Darks, 20 Flats for each L, Ha, R, G, B.
