Description:
Two panel mosaic of the Running Man Nebula (NGC 1973/1975/1977), M42 and M43 made from data obtained nearly a decade ago for M42/M43 and four years ago for the Running man nebula with my previous telescope. M42/M43 is a combination of long exposures for the nebulosity and short exposures for the core and trapezium to make a high dynamic range image. Exposures: M42/M43 = 8 hours, NGC 1973/1975/1977 =2 hours, 35 minutes.
