Description:
Relatively young and close, the Beehive Cluster or Praesepe (M44) contains about 1000 mostly blue-white stars and is roughly 600 light years away. I have seen it with averted vision with the naked eye, and it’s a real treat to view and image. This image consists of 4 hours of data from my Bortle 7 backyard.
