Description:
M45, the Pleiades, a rich open cluster in the constellation of Taurus. I stayed up all night taking this shot from the Paint Mines Open Space in Calhan, Colorado. It was a beautiful night under the stars. I saw approximately 40-50 meteors, and watched the moon rise, followed by Jupiter, Venus, and Mars.
