Equipment:

Custom-built carbon fiber 10″ f/4.5 corrected Newtonian astrograph (MOANA), ZWO ASI1600MM camera, Astro-Physics 1100GTO mount

Description:

M57, the "Ring" nebula, is one of the better-known planetary nebulae, and is located 2000 light-years away in the Lyra region. The central ring is about a light-year in diameter, and the Moana Project's 10" custom-built Newtonian astrograph reveals a good deal of detail and fainter, peripheral nebulosity as well.
