Description:
M98 is an intermediate-barred spiral galaxy lying 44 million high-years from Earth in the constellation Coma Berenices. It may have interacted with the M99, the Little Pinwheel Galaxy in Coma Berenices about 750 million years ago. It is a galaxy that is actually blue shifted because it is heading toward us at a velocity of 140 km/second. Exposures: L:R:G:B =110:65:65:65 minutes = 5 hours, 5 minutes total exposure at f/8.3.
