Description:

Mars was nearly overhead in the early hours of a cold mid-November morning. I captured several 2-minute video captures, selecting 10 spanning about 20 minutes - de-rotated in WinJupos. Seeing was variable with moments of very good seeing (8-9/10), but there were high, thin clouds. The short linear features are in the Sinus Gomer region. The tip of the rightmost of these marks the approximate location of Gale Crater - the location of Nasa's Curiosity Rover.
