Description:

Resubmitting. The first submission shows no image... even though when submitted the image upload status was a success! Hopefully this time the image shows up :-) On Jun18th under a cloudless and moonless night with fairly good dark skies, the location of the photo (Bortle class #3 - #4 : https://skyandtelescope.org/astronomy-resources/light-pollution-and-astronomy-the-bortle-dark-sky-scale/), offered a nice opportunity to take Milky Way pix, as the galactic core rose above the hill and tree tops. Antares (AKA ज्येष्ठा / ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠಾ / Jyeṣṭhā traditionally in Indian astronomy), can be seen in the constellation Scorpius (वृश्चिक / ವೃಶ್ಚಿಕ / Vṛścika) around the middle of the right border of the picture. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antares Prabhunandan Murthy CA, USA
