Description:
This Mineral Moon image is a composite of seven individual captures acquired on December 3, 2025. The data was recorded using a Celestron 9.25" EdgeHD telescope at f/10 paired with a ZWO ASI533 color camera. Each image was captured in FireCapture, consisting of 1,000 frames at a 3 ms exposure, with the best 200 frames stacked in AS!4. The final composite was assembled in Adobe Photoshop Layers, with mineral enhancement processing performed in PixInsight revealing the Moon’s hidden palette—traces of ancient volcanic flows and chemical diversity etched across the lunar surface.
