Description:
The Monkey Head Nebula is a star forming region in the constellation Orion. It is 6400 Light years from earth. It's a pillar of gas and dust that appears ape -like monkey face, due to dark dust streams within the glowing cloud. I used an Askar 120mm APO telescope with a ZWO ASI294mc pro camera with a 7nm duel narrow band filter. I shot 45 four minute subs in my observatory in Bortle 4 skis.
