Description:
Imagine my surprise and delight when, emerging from the subway at Columbus Circle in Manhattan, I noticed not only this stunning globe sculpture (by Kim Brandell) but also the (actual!) Moon aptly placed beside it. The Moon continued to delight against various cityscapes into the evening, eventually reaching even above Manhattan's towering buildings in the winter sky and as we approach the peak of the nodal precession next month.
