Description:
My wife and I drove 40 minutes from home to catch the aurora at a dark sky site in Northern California. We had previously seen the aurora together in Iceland in 2018, but never thought we'd ever see it this close to home. As the photograph suggests, we were both in awe of the show in front of us, which was surprisingly quite visible with the naked eye.
