Description:
This is my second attempt to get a decent image of M1 from my location. December nights have been very humid and not so cold. M1, the crab nebula, hosting a neutron star in its center looked good this night in spite of the high humidity. It is located in the constellation Taurus at approximately 6,500 light years. It shines at magnitude 8.4 (info provided by wikipedia).
