Lunt LS50 Ha Pressure Tuned scope, Sky Watcher AZ-GTI mount, ZWO ASI462MC camera, Lynkeos and Pixinsight processing on MacBook Pro computer. Both images are from video at 30 FPS, 10 seconds each.


The newest Earth-facing sunspots, AR 2993, 2994 and 2995, rotating onto the Eastern limb of the sun a few days ago, but, the show stealer is AR 2975, just behind the West limb (out of sight), causing large flares and, at least one large Coronal Mass Ejection (not headed toward Earth).
