Description:
NGC 1365 is also known as the Great Barred Spiral of Fornax. It is 11 arcminutes in diameter and lies 56 million light years distant. This image is composed of 21 hours of LRGB exposures. The observatory experienced excellent seeing during the nights the data were captured rendering a exceptionally sharp image.
