Description:

NGC 2077 is a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud with a striking appearance. It is peppered with bright nebulae, clouds of gas and dust illuminated by the light from newly formed stars. These nebulae shine vibrantly due to the ionization of gases like hydrogen and oxygen, giving them a distinct glow ranging from reddish hues (from hydrogen) to blue or green shades (from oxygen and other elements). The combination of light creates a captivating colour palette, making NGC 2077 a visual marvel. (The original data was acquired from Telescopelive, which I processed using Pixinsight and Photoshop).
