Last night's clear sky allowed imaging of a relatively faint deep sky object, NGC 2174 (also known as Monkey Head Nebula), an emission (Hydrogen II) nebula located in the constellation Orion and associated with the open star cluster NGC 2175. It is located about 6,400 light-years away from Earth. Image is a stack of 18 ten-minute sub (3 hours integration time).
