Description:
The sky finally cleared, and the wind died down, so I had a chance to capture NGC 2841 last night. “This is the prototype for the flocculent spiral galaxy, a type of spiral galaxy whose arms are patchy and discontinuous.” - (ref: Wikipedia) It’s about 1 and a half times the size of our Milky Way Galaxy and is located about 46 million light years away.
