Description:
NGC 3628 is an edge on spiral galaxy lying 30 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Leo. It is a member of the Leo Trio along with M65 and M66. Its outline bears a a general resemblance to a hamburger with the dark brown dust lane representing the meat patty. A faint tidal star stream can be seen trailing off from the galaxy at bottom right of the frame. Exposures: L:R:G:B = 230:65:70:75 =7 hours, 50 minutes total exposure.
