Description:

One arm of NGC4027 is very small, likely due to a collision with another galaxy in the distant past. This debris is thought to be the triangular-shaped NGC4027A seen below, but the galaxy it collided with seems to have moved away and is no longer in the vicinity.L:108mim (3min x 36), R/G/B: (3minx6)/(3minx3)/(3minx5) , 2x2 binning. Astrodon E series LRGB filters. Processed by StelaImage9 and PhotoShop, Richardson-Lucy Deconvolution
