Description:
Last night's sky was clear so I took a telescope out in the yard and started imaging a faint galaxy, NGC 4631, also known as the Whale Galaxy, a barred spiral seen edge-on from Earth, about 33 million light years away. It didn't look like I was getting much data, and so I quit the exposure after just 7 minutes, but, a quick processing this morning shows a "not too bad" result.
