Description:
In the southern outskirts of the Small Magellanic Cloud you’ll find NGC 465, an open cluster in constellation Tucana, 150,000 lightyears away. An open cluster is a loosely bound group of stars, but this is clearly more than that. Here a beautiful emission nebula encapsulates the cluster in a hydrogen and oxygen rich area.
