Description:
NGC 5981 (edge-on spiral), NGC 5982 (elliptical) and NGC 5985 (spiral), while not specifically part of a compact group, are often imaged together and known collectively as the Draco Trio or Triplet. Located in the Constellation Draco they are between 100-140 million light-years distant. The data for this galaxy was provided by the RASC Robotic Telescope, and was imaged in June of 2020. It consists of 5 hours of RGB data, along with 5 hours of luminance.
