Description:

NGC 7331 is a Hubble-type Sbc spiral galaxy in the constellation Pegasus. It is around 46 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 140,000 light years. Stephan's Quintet is a group of five galaxies discovered in 1877 by the French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan. Due to the mutual gravitational effect, the spiral arms of the galaxies are irregularly deformed. It was the first cold night after summer. Luckily I had my winter clothes with me. It was a little bit hazy, but otherwise seeing and guiding was great. Such a wonderful region with so many galaxies.
