Description:

The "Wizard" Nebula is an area of emission nebulosity around star cluster NGC 7380. There's a wizard in there if you look at it sideways... The data for this image was collected over several nights using the L-eXtreme filter for Ha and OIII, and the L-Pro filter for RGB stars. Normally I'd crop this tighter to focus on the main area of nebulosity, but the surrounding space contained beautiful wisps of nebulosity (including SH2-143), and even an area which appears to be a dark nebula (LDN-1200), so I decided to preserve the wide view. I hope you enjoy!
