Description:

Once again, storms are coming to Julian, CA and we have our expected one very clear and steady night of calm before the storm. It's always difficult to decide what to capture for just one night. But then I recalled my capture of NGC2655 in 2020. This would be a perfect time to re-capture deep Luminance using 15-minute exposures with the new ASI6200 CMOS and combine that with the old RGB from the 16803 CCD! So that's exactly what you see here. 8.5 hours of all-new ASI6200 luminance collected between 7 PM and 5 AM during the calm before the Julian storm.
