Description:
Beautiful face on Spiral galaxy in Leo Minor. I am not sure why, but there are very few images of the galaxy on the internet. I find this odd as it is one of the most beautiful galaxies I have seen with a very large number of star forming regions in it (pink areas). Maybe it is the low surface brightness of the galaxy. Images processed with PixInsight, Registar, and Photoshop CS5 Photoshop The unusual outer ring on NGC3344 is a result of a close encounter with galaxy PGC1718896 at bottom next to the star image below and slightly to the left.
