NGC 4565, known as the Needle Galaxy, is one of the finest edge-on spiral galaxies visible from Earth. Located about 40 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices, it is distinguished by its prominent dark dust lane and bright central bulge. This image was captured from the Sabiya Desert, Kuwait.
