It was constructed from 5 hours and 40 minutes of exposures using the AT115EDT telescope with a Starizona reducer, an ASI2600MC camera, with the ASIAIR Plus controller and CEM40 mount, processed in Astro Pixel Processor and Photoshop. Exposures using an Antila ALP-T dual narrowband filter and Triband RGB Ultra filter were combined in this image.
Description:
This is the nebulosity (SH2-54) surrounding the open cluster NGC6604 in Serpens, part of the extended nebulosity in the region that includes the much more frequently imaged Eagle and Omega Nebulas.
