Description:
Most images of this exciting region do not go deep enough to reveal the huge glowing hydrogen background in this part of the sky. Who would have known that the Wizzard nebula (NGC7380) was simply the brightest part of an extensive region of dust and hydrogen gas? Also seen are individual Sharpless Nebula scattered all over the field, with a few dark LDN nebula at the top to complete the scene. This deep shot from our dark high altitude sky site in Happy Jack Arizona shows more nebulosity than sky and reveals multiple future targets for longer focal length imaging. Technical Data: 8" f/2 RASA astrograph, ASI2600mc + IDAS NBZ2 Integration time = 2h total, Happy Jack, Az.
