Description:
Noctilucent clouds can be seen a few nights per year in Paris, around the summer solstice. Despite the heavy light pollution, the display was quite spectacular on June 18th, from 23:30 to midnight. The bright dot visible in the clouds slightly on the right of the Eiffel Tower is Capella. Taken from my balcony in southern Paris (2900 m from the tower). ISO 160, single 3.2" exposure 55 mm focal length f/5.0
