Description:
Up until May 2024, I had never seen the aurora before. Now I’ve been lucky enough to see them twice, 5 months apart, to the day. The October 9/10 aurorae were much weaker for me than the May show, but that was expected. These were caused by a G4 level storm where May was a G5. I didn’t even think I’d see the aurorae at all, through my eyes or through the camera lens. Thankfully, luck and clear skies were on my side. Canon EOS Ra 2x30s exposures stacked in StarStax, processed in Pixinsight
