Canon 700D DSLR with a EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM telephoto lens set at 250mm, f/5.6, 100 ASA using a 1/60 second exposure.
Despite the terrible seeing conditions that evening (and of course the single digit temperatures), the occultation of Aldebaran looked spectacular in 15 x 70 binoculars. I also managed to take a few quick shots using a simple 'camera-on-tripod' setup, with the image attached being taken just prior to Aldebaran's disappearance.
