Description:

This is Omega Centauri, the largest and brightest globular cluster in the night sky. This has a native resolution of 0.4"/pixel and a FWHM of 1.1" making it potentially the most highly resolved image of this cluster taken by an amateur. Or, at the very least not taken from a remote observatory in Chile.
