Description:
This two panel mosaic comprises the three "star" dagger or sword of Orion. Unlike many deep sky objects, this is easy to see with the naked eye and one of the first objects that enthralls most of us when we get our first scope. With every new piece of equipment I love to give this another try to see if I can get just a little more, a little deeper! 17 hours of Total exposure time split 8.5 for each of the two panels. Stacked using CCDStack and stiched in Photoshop.
