Description:

After having imaged with a DSLR for more than 10 years, last summer I got myself a dedicated Astro cam: The ZWO ASI533MC Pro. This is my first go at M31 with the new camera this October. This consists of 2 sessions: 3-hr session with an L-Pro taken from my Bortle 7/8 backyard and another 2 hours from a Bortle 5 location without a filter. I used the same stacking and processing steps as my previous M31 image done with my DSLR if anyone's interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trq6DkHueZc You can find more of my videos at: https://youtube.com/Naztronomy See this on Astrobin: https://www.astrobin.com/gsroo6/ Equipment used: * Astro-Tech AT60ED with the 0.8x Reducer/Flattener on Advanced VX Mount * Mount controlled via Astroberry * ZWO ASI533MC Pro * Svbony 60mm guide scope with ZWO ASI120MM-Mini guide cam * 64x120sec with L-Pro * 36x300 Sec without L-Pro * 30 sec darks for each session * 30 flats for each session * 35 bias * All frames were with Gain 101, Offset 70, at -10°C. * Stacked in AstroPixelProcess and did some auto stretches on it, light pollution removal, and star color calibration. * Post-Processed in Photoshop: Camera Raw adjustments, curves, and Topaz DeNoise for noise reduction.
