Description:
Sky conditions were perfectly clear with the temperature at around freezing point. Both objects were perfectly clear in 16x 30 binoculars when viewed from a dark field location. PANSTARRS has dimmed quite a bit to magnitude 4.66. It has developed a large fan shaped tail which made it much easier to locate. It was also visible for much longer, as it is becoming circumpolar.
